食物繊維を十分に摂って、水分を十分に補給し、運動をすることが治療の主軸です。それでも効果がない場合には下剤を試すことも考慮に入れましょう。下剤は短期間の服用に限ります。薬物の安全性を考慮に入れることが妊娠中に注意しなければならないことです。浸透圧下剤は妊娠中でも副作用のリスクが低い薬です。しかし塩類系の浸透圧下剤は副作用のリスクがあるため、妊娠中の長期間の服用は控える必要があります。塩類系の浸透圧下剤にはクエン酸マグネシウムあるいはリン酸ナトリウムなどがあります。ポリエチレングリコールは妊娠中の慢性便秘でも副作用のリスクが低いです。ドキュセイト、センナ、ビサコジルなども短期であれば副作用のリスクが低いです。ひまし油あるいは鉱油は副作用のリスクがあるため、妊娠中は控える必要があります。

• 妊娠中：短期の服用であれば副作用のリスクは低い。

ビサコジル

• 妊娠中：短期の服用であれば副作用のリスクは低い。

ミネラルオイル
